Kava carries his standard
Public Notes
Kava tears up the scroll, then raises a crowd in the market. He takes off his rough blacksmith's apron and hoists it as a banner on a spear. Then he leads his followers to Faridun, who embroiders the banner with precious materials. Faridun dispatches his two older brothers to summon the smiths to his presence and orders the smiths to make him a mace in the shape of an ox head.

[the Shah Tahmasp picture shows Faridun with his brothers; the second Berlin picture shows a smith delivering the mace; so this needs to be divided up into three scenes.]
