Iskandar (Sikandar, Alexander) ascends the throne.
[Mohl's edition, following one family of manuscripts, has in vss. 1-31 an encomium on Mahmud. Khaleghi, following a different family of manuscripts, prints these verses at the beginning of the chapter on Shapur I. It is not out of the question that some of the pictures here depict not Iskandar but Mahmud.]
