Rustam's fifth labour: he lassoes Aulad
Public Notes
Rustam lassos Aulad, but spares his life on the condition that he lead him to the captured Kay Kavus and to the White Demon. They set off together and reach Mazandaran.

[NB. Some of the miniatures depict Aulad and his followers as demons, while others (more in keeping with the text) depict them as noble men.]
