Afrasiyab returns to his father Pashang, reports on the defeat of his army and berates his father for violating the truce with the Iranians. In the subsequent (not illustrated) episodes Pashang follows his son's advice and sues for peace. Kay Qubad reigns for another hundred years, before bequeathing the throne to his son Kay Kavus and dying.
