Public Notes
A 19th-century Shahnama which appears to have been produced in the late Mughal Empire, probably in Kashmir, and contains over 20 completed images. However, the vast majority of the illustrations were unfinished, and this Shahnama copy also includes a number of images that appear half-painted or sketched.

All information currently kindly supplied by Marianne Hansen.

Note that the MS is currently foliated as if it were a European book, from left to right. Images have been entered as supplied with their current folio number, to be corrected when the MS has been re-paginated.

The colophon is currently numbered fol. 1v, but should be 670r?
