Binding European brown leather, warped, with 5 cord bands on spine. There are five flyleaves. Fol. 1r has four seals, the earliest apparently dated 1170/1757. the ms. is undated, but pehaps of 17th c.
In addition to the four columns of text, there is a fifth column in the margins.
The paper is very thick, creamy white, with some water damage. Some folios are darker, and quite heavily burnished. The pages now curl considerably, and the binding is rather tight. Folios 50 and 51 have been foldedin, giving at least some sense of the sizze before trimming, presumably at the time of rebinding. Fol. 33r has a line of text running vertically up the outside margin.
Preliminary inspection by Ch.M. and F.A. in January 2011.
The pagination is in Gujerati numerals.
The volume begins with the reign of Gushtasp.
