Public Notes
The working description of the ms. is kindly provided by Barbara Schmitz, who notes the date as second quarter of the 19th century, and probably from Kashmir. The ms. is in its original binding, of embossed leather, with the signature of Sayf al-Din Sahhaf and the date 1276 (1859-60). The cartouche with the name occurs on both front and back; the border has a floral design.

The manuscript contains 16 miniatures, listed below in the order they occur. If this is correct, the pictures are evidently out of order, or the manuscript has been disturbed. The text has yet to be paginated. The text is defective at the end.

Project Notes
Mentioned in Rehmani, p. 12, as "adorned with paintings of the eighteenth century A.D."
