A recently acquired ms., without binding. The detached back cover is of dark brown outside and bright pink inside, leather on cardboard. There is also a flap of green leather obviously belonging to another MS.
The paper Oriental, yellowish creamy, rather thick, with no water marks. The ms. has suffered from wet, and it is difficult to detach the folia from each other.
No prose introduction. The text starts with the normative poetic incipit: Ba nam-i khudavand-i jan-u khirad / Ki dil-ra az andisha bar guzarad… The ms. includes a text of the Barzunama, four scenes of which are illustrated.
Despite the water damage, the ms. is in good condition, in both text and paintings, of which there are 32, in the Kashmir style. The choice of subjects (apart from the Barzunama), is very standard, with no uncommon scenes. There are also two 'unvans in the same style (ff.1v and 185v). Ff. 184v-185r - have an empty space. (F.A.).
