Public Notes
More than 8000 books and manuscripts are housed in the Northern Hall of the Museum. In the Southern Hall, one can observe ancient, pre-Islamic and Islamic periods' objects. The most significant piece preserved in the museum is the oldest manuscript of the Canon of medicine by Avicenna.
