Project Notes
Several important collections acquired, including several paintings from the collection of S. Carey Welch. The Museum contains 6 Shahnama mss and 14 separate folios, including a fifteenth-century Turkoman ms. dated 890/1485 (instead of 790/1388). Collection introduced by Oliver Watson at TIMA conference in Cambridge, 25 July 2009; all needs properly cataloguing. Others may or may not be Shahnamas.

Confirm all contact details, get photo of Museum, etc.

Working visit ChM and FA, 12-21 December 2009: saw everything identified.
