The Shahnama held here was previously in the Sabih Millet Kutuphanesi. It is not clear whether this is a permanent arrangement.
In fact, the manuscript recorded here has been moved back to the Millet Library in Fatih (q.v.), now that the earthquake damage there has been restored.
The Beyazit Library holds one copy of the Shahnama, no. 5705, which is not illustrated. Briefly inspected by ChM. in February 2009, with assistance of Sara Nur Yildiz.
