The Mingana collection was originally located in Selly Oak Colleges in Birmingham, which were disbanded in 1999 and mostly absorbed into the University of Birmingham. The collection originally belonged to the Edward Cadbury Trust, which retains an interest in it but is now longer responsible for it. The collection can be consulted at the University of Birmingham Information Services. For details and permissions to use or reproduce images of the paintings, please refer to Mrs Meline Neilsen. For an account of the Mingana collection and its formation, see Lucy-Anne Hunt, The Mingana and related collections, A survey of illustrated Arabic, Greek, Eastern Christian, Persian and Turkish manuscripts in the Selly Oak Colleges, Birmingham.
