Public Notes
The scene is an unusual choice for illustration - the Iranians carrying plunder from Farud's castle - and is not close to the text anyway; the surrounding lines (and the rubric) suggest that the subject should have been the Iranians discovering and mourning the dead Farud. (Ch.M.).
